Funny story I remembered, thought I would share…
I am known around my friends as being a little silly, and not always the smartest cookie in the jar, if you know what I mean..
Anyway, one day while working night shift, I was trying to look at the tops of my back top teeth in the mirror. It seems, you can not see these as easily as the bottom ones. (I did not have one of those handy dandy mirrors from the dentist)
Suddenly I had the idea that if I stood on my head, and held the mirror up, I could see these teeth.
So, I did a handstand up against a pole in the office, and had a good friend (thanks John!) hold the mirror up to my mouth…..It seems this does not help, you still can not see these teeth.
Anyway, it made for a good laugh and good story at least. What can I say? I am cute!

Help!
I need some help! I am wondering how do you know when to stop praying for a certian thing? I have always heard of unanswered prayers, how do you know what you are praying for isn’t just on of ‘em?
I am very impatient, and am praying about that too, but I also do not want to feel like it is wasted.
I also do not know how to “know” what is God’s path for you. I have always heard people say that it was God’s intentions, or you just know. I feel like if I let go of the prayer, that maybe I shouldn’t.
I am sure this is a test of my faith, but any comments will be greatly appreciated!

A little different…
This is a little different, but I have a question for everyone….
Are you ever too old for a booty call?!?! Do you think there is a time and age when you need to grow up and just tell someone that is all you want?
Please leave a comment and let me know!!!
Good day mate!

Awesome author!
I have just finished two books from a new author I found who is very talented! Thanks to a good friend of mine,(LIbby) I can add these two to my collection of all time favorites!
The books are But Inside I’m Screaming, and Ella and Me, by Elizabeth Flock
These are not normally my “type” of book, but I REALLY enjoyed them, and look forward to more from the author!
Good find Lib!!

Dez’s Birthday
Well, eleven years ago right now, I was recovering from giving birth to my beautiful baby girl! I was also fighting with my husband over my hospital bed (it seems he wasn’t comfortable in the pull out chair and wanted me to sleep there, and him in the bed…did I mention he is my EX husband?!?!).
Right now I am still trying to recover from a weekend in the mountains at a rented cabin with 7 10-11 year old girls. Now I understand why people drink!!!!
We did have a good time, and Happy Birthday Dez!!!!

Ok girls….
A friend of mine wanted me to voice my opinion about this….
Valentine’s Day is a crock….it is a made up holiday from the card and candy people. I know it is very sweet to receive a gift from the one you love. However, I would rather have a gift or hear I love you on ANY day.
I don’t want my man rushing home from work, standing in line pissed off trying to think of something to buy me, then resenting the gift because he “had” to.
I am starting a movement to stop Valentine’s Day for all men! If he loves you, he will tell you anyday and buy you gifts anyday just because!
Again, I would like to say it is a gimmick….get out now, just don’t do it!!!!!
I love you guys, I am trying to help you all here!

More thoughts of the day…
I have found these thoughts in a book I am reading, thought I would share them with you…
If Heaven is a place where there are no secrets, it would, for some, also be Hell
and
The noble causes of life have always seemed foolish to the uninspired. But this is of
small concern. I worry less about the crucified than those who pounded the nails.
Something to think about huh?

Yukky….
Just got my braces on today! All I have to say is they SUCK!!!!!! It will be better I know once I get used to them, but for now it is shitty!
Once I am done w/ treatment, I am sure I will love it, but until then I am gonna whine about it, cause I can!

Children
They are so innocent and naive. I read something that sums it all up..
The only promise of childhood is that it ends.
Basically that wraps it up, and then as a parent you have to hope you have done all you can to make sure they will be good hearted genuine adults and haven’t warped their little heads too bad.
Another favorite…
This is another one of my favorite quotes…
“When someone shows you their true selves, believe them….the first time”
Just a little something to think about.
